Scent Squad is an ongoing coaching and education group for committed scentwork teams who want to continue developing clarity, depth, and confidence in their searching beyond the foundation courses.

This is not a casual membership or drop-in group. Scent Squad is designed for handlers who value thoughtful feedback, structured learning, and long-term development rather than quick fixes.

What Scent Squad Includes

All members receive:

• Monthly scentwork lectures focused on advanced concepts, problem-solving, and search strategy
• Full access to the Scentwork Library, including 12+ lectures from previous years plus all newly released content
• Eligibility to attend optional in-person Scent Squad workshops (priced separately)
• Opportunities to participate in shared goals, learning focus areas, and group recognition throughout the year

Coaching Structure

Individual coaching is offered through private coaching threads for members enrolled in coaching tiers.

Coaching time is calculated based on the time spent reviewing submitted footage and providing written or video feedback, not the length of the video itself.

To keep submissions focused and effective:

• Each submission may include up to 1–2 video clips
• Maximum 2 minutes per clip

Unused coaching time does not roll over.

Membership Tiers

Scent Squad offers three membership tiers. Coaching access varies by tier.

Tier A – Coaching Focused

• 15 minutes of individual coaching per month
• Private coaching thread
• Best suited for teams actively training, trialing, or working through specific challenges

Tier B – Light Coaching

• 5 minutes of individual coaching per month
• Private coaching thread
• Designed for maintenance, refinement, and occasional guidance

Tier C – Lecture Access

• No individual coaching
• Access to all monthly lectures and the full Scentwork Library
• Ideal for teams who want continued education without ongoing feedback

In-Person Scent Squad Workshops

Optional in-person Scent Squad workshops are offered periodically throughout the year when suitable venues are available. These sessions focus on applied searching, problem-solving, and real-world setups aligned with current lecture topics.

Workshops:

• Are available only to current Scent Squad members
• Are priced separately
• Are limited in size to maintain quality and safety
• Are not offered on a fixed monthly schedule

Enrollment & Commitment

Scent Squad operates on a bi-annual enrollment structure to maintain coaching quality, group consistency, and sustainable support.

• Enrollment opens twice per year:
  January 1–15 and July 1–15
• Membership is available on an annual or bi-annual commitment
• Access is by invitation only for teams who have completed
  Scentwork Foundations: Level 1 and Level 2

Because Level 2 is a prerequisite for joining Scent Squad, mid-year enrollment is dependent on course scheduling and completion. In years where Level 2 runs during the middle of the year, additional intake may be limited or deferred to the following enrollment window.

Tier changes can only be made during enrollment periods.

If membership is cancelled, access to monthly lectures, the Scentwork Library, and individual coaching threads will be removed.
