Scent Squad Workshops

Scent Squad Workshops are member-only, in-person training intensives created to bridge the gap between learning and application. These sessions are not casual meetups. They are focused, thoughtfully structured workshops designed to challenge both dog and handler while maintaining clarity, confidence, and clean mechanics.

Each workshop runs for 90 minutes and is capped at a small number of teams to ensure meaningful coaching, thoughtful setups, and the opportunity to learn not only through your own searches, but by observing others.

Workshops are thematically aligned with current Scent Squad lecture topics or seasonal training priorities. This allows members to take what they are learning online and pressure-test those concepts in novel environments, under guided conditions.

These sessions are intentionally not offered monthly. Workshops are scheduled selectively throughout the year based on venue availability, training goals, and instructional value.

What to Expect

During each 90-minute workshop, teams will:

• Work through multiple carefully designed search problems
• Practice reading odor, environment, and dog decision-making
• Refine handling choices, timing, and movement
• Gain live, real-time coaching and feedback
• Learn by observing other teams’ strategies and solutions

Workshops may include Containers, Interiors, Exteriors, Vehicles, or mixed-element problems depending on venue and theme.

Pricing

$59 per team

This pricing reflects:

• Venue hire and equipment costs
• Instructor time and preparation
• A small contribution toward monthly Scent Squad prizes and workshop supplies

Pricing may vary slightly for specialty venues or extended setups. Any changes will be clearly stated at booking.

Eligibility & Booking Notes

• Workshops are exclusive to active Scent Squad members
• Separate registration is required for each workshop
• Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come basis
• Workshops are non-transferable

• Workshops are optional and not included in Scent Squad membership fees
• Attendance at workshops is not required to remain a member
